And our community has grown again

It was a delightful start to the day this morning...

to open the blog and see another Follower has joined us. 'laprincesasarita' - thank you for visiting my blog, I really appreciate that you took the time and that you also signed on as a Follower :)  I have great friends that I can talk to on the phone (HI Kathy and Jan!!) even though they are scattered around Australia.  I have other good friends with whom I correspond by email - all over the world.  All those friendships are special.  And people who choose to take an interest in the blog and therefore show that they want to share my mini journey with me, especially by leaving comments - I count you all as friends too.  To take the time to follow a blog  - really follow - shows interest.  To take the trouble to leave a comment shows that a person is willing to connect in a personal way, and that is a special thing.  As miniaturists we are part of a hobby that allows us to express ourselves in such diverse ways.  As we journey along the path we grow and expand our interests, learn new skills, and our tastes develop and change.  This is a fascinating thing - and so good for our health and wellbeing too.  But we need people to share our journey with to make it even richer.  And you, my friends, are the majority of the people  with whom I can share.  There are few opportunities 'in the flesh' for me, and when they happen they are special, but to sit down and share on this blog is also special.  So thank you for sharing with me!
