And so has Miss Marple's Cottage

....  at 7.30am today.  I was doing the Church Bulletin at the time, and wouldn’t let myself open the box until it was finished. How’s that for self control vbg? My new computer (bought the afternoon before yesterday) still hasn’t most of my ‘stuff’ on it so I have had to import files and now have at least this one on it. Here’s a photo of the many little bits in that box of wonderful delights. Isn’t it an exciting moment when you open that box and see a new kit there, full of possibilities? I was so eager to have a look that I put my full cup of coffee down on a tray I had on our bed as a flat surface for my portable hard drives and new laptop, to pick up the open box and go through it while having my coffee. In my hurry I didn’t put the cup down level and it tipped over – all over the tray, and all over the bed, right through the freshly-washed blankets and sheets! If I’d known I was going to do that I wouldn’t have gone to the trouble to make the bed this morning lol!

Once I took the photo I sorted the pieces using the diagrams in the very extensive instructions, and put each lot in separate plastic zip-lock bags, labelled with the section. There are some tiny, tiny pieces among them so I didn’t want to risk losing anything.

Now I am facing a big dilemma of course: I won’t start another house until I have gone as far as I can with the Sea Shanty. Of course I won’t. Will I? No, I will be strong. I will be strong! I will be strong! I will. I will!!!! I hope. But when I have done that, which project will I choose to do next? Decisions, decisions, decisions................................Sweet dilemma indeed!

  1. Hi Sandra
Gosh we so have the same taste!!! Not only are we both working on Sea Shanty - but my husband bought me Miss Marples Cottage - last year sometime - it is very carefully tucked away until I finish Sea shanty. Oh we can so swap notes :-)
    Enjoy Sandra
