Welcome KayJay and Sue

I need suggestions please.....

It's very exciting to see the numbers of Followers slowly growing.  So welcome KayJay and Sue - it is lovely to see you here, and I truly hope that you enjoy your visits and leave lots of comments.  I don't get much in the way of feedback from my family.  Like so many of our families, they don't 'get it' so I particularly enjoy being a member of a miniature community.

I notice that other bloggers often have a giveaway when their followers reach a certain number, so I was thinking that if I reach 100 I will have one too.  If I do reach that number of course lol!

So - I need suggestions please, about the kind of giveaway that you would like me to hold.  What would be good to have for prizes?  What scale?  As you know, I do mainly quarter scale at the moment but I also do 1:12th scale.  Perhaps a draw for 1:48scale and one for 1:12 scale?  I do petitpoint in 1:12th scale only though.
Please offer lots of ideas because there's not much point in having a giveaway if no-one likes the prizes!  And if you want to encourage others to sign on as followers, we will reach 100 all the sooner lol.  And if you are one of those who read but haven't signed on, then now is your opportunity so you can enter the draw as well.

Mini hugs
Sandie

  2. Thank you Drora, I love your blog and I've finally worked out how to have a translation tool! And I'm glad you enjoy my 1/48 projects. It is so much fun to share them with other mini lovers too. I appreciate your comments.

  4. Hello Sandie,

I like looking at your 1/48 projects too and marvelling at how tiny yet perfect everything is. I am thinking about trying to do something in a smaller scale soon, but don't think I could go quite as small as 1/48th, so my vote would be for a prize in 1/12 scale.

As for what you might offer . . . how about something that will fit into just about any miniature scene like a pot of flowers or as you suggest a petitpoint?

  6. Sue you do such lovely work - it is a real pleasure to look at it. And we seem to have so much in common as far as our tastes go. Do you have a blog? I haven't been able to find a link at all. Thank you for looking daily at my blog - I will have to be more conscientious in posting lol.

  7. Sorry I don't have a blog as yet, I haven't taken the plunge. Not sure I did enough things to keep an interesting blog going . Did you take a course to learn how to set up a blog or just dive straight in?

  8. From the photos you posted on The Beehive I'd say you have plenty to keep people interested. No I didn't take a course in blogging - just followed the prompts on Blogger. That's why everything is so basic. I've done a bit of fiddling but want to add more personal touches. I start to research ways to do so then run out of time. One day vbg.
    Hugs,

  9. I love to follow your 1/48" projects too. Never made that scale myself (I'm trying to keep my works in 1/12 scale as well as I can *lol*), but I agree, that You could create something in that direction (=1/48" scale)
